أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَکْرٍ بَعَثَهُ فِي الْحَجَّةِ الَّتِي أَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فِي رَهْطٍ يُؤَذِّنُ فِي النَّاسِ أَلَا لَا يَحُجَّنَّ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ مُشْرِکٌ وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ

Abu Hurairah narrated that Abu Bakr sent him, during the Hajj that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم appointed him to lead before the Farewell Pilgrimage, with a group of others to announce to the people: “No idolator is to perform Hajj after this year, and no one is to circumambulate the House naked.” (Sahih)
