أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَدِمَ مُعْتَمِرًا فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ أَيَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ سَبْعًا وَصَلَّی خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَکْعَتَيْنِ وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَقَدْ کَانَ لَکُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2937
It was narrated that ‘Amr said: “I heard Ibn ‘Umar say — when we asked him about a man who came for ‘Umrah, and performed Tawaf around the House, but did not perform Sa’I between A and Al-Marwah, could he be intimate with his wife? He said: ‘When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came, he circumambulated seven times, and prayed two Rak’ahs behind the Maqam, and performed Sa’i between As-Safá and Al Marwah. And you have the best of examples in the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم “ (Sahih)
