أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَزَعَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ الْمُهَاجِرِ الْمَکِّيِّ قَالَ سُئِلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يَرَی الْبَيْتَ أَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ مَا کُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا إِلَّا الْيَهُودَ حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ نَکُنْ نَفْعَلُهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2902
It was narrated that Al Muhajir Al-Makki said: “Jabir bin ‘Abdullah was asked whether a man should raise his hands when he sees the House. He said: “I do not think that anyone does that except the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and we did not do that.” (Da’if)
