أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ قُلْتُ مَا الْحَنْتَمُ قَالَ الْجَرُّ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5633
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade Al-Hantam. I (the narrator) said: “What is Al- Hantam?'' He said: The earthenware jar.” (Sahih)
