أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَائٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ سَعِيدٌ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بَلْ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5551
It was narrated from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah who said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said:(Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is of no benefit, a heart that is not humble, a soul that is not satisfied and a supplication that is not heard.)” (Sahih) Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: Saeed did not hear from Abli Hurairah, rather he heard it from his brother, from Abu Hurairah.
