أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ إِنْ شَائَ اللَّهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الثَّلَاثَةِ مِنْ دَرَکِ الشَّقَائِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَائِ وَسُوئِ الْقَضَائِ وَجَهْدِ الْبَلَائِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ هُوَ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَذَکَرْتُ أَرْبَعَةً لِأَنِّي لَا أَحْفَظُ الْوَاحِدَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5506
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to seek refuge from these three: From being overtaken by destruction, from his enemies rejoiciin his misfortune, from being destined to an evil end, and from the difficult moment of a calamity.” Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: “There were three, and I mentioned four because I do not remember which one was not one of them.” (Sahih)
