It was narrated from ‘Uthman bin Abi Al-’As that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم , used to say supplication in these words: “Allahumma inni a ‘adhu bika minal-kasali, waiharami, wal-jubni, wal- ‘ajzi, wa mm fitnatil-mahya wal mamat. (Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, and incapacity, and from the trials of life and death.)” (Hasan)
