أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَی عِيسَی ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام رَجُلًا يَسْرِقُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَسَرَقْتَ قَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ قَالَ عِيسَی عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَکَذَّبْتُ بَصَرِي
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5442
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘ ‘tsa bin Mariarn, peace be upon him, saw a man stealing, and said to him: Are you stealing? He said: No, by Allah besides Whom there is no other God! ‘Isa, peace upon him, said: I believe in Allah and I disbelieve my eyes.” (Sahih).
