أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَضْرِبُ بِيَدِهِ عَلَی جَبْهَتِهِ يَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَکْذِبُ عَلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِکُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي الْأُخْرَی حَتَّی يُصْلِحَهَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5385
It was narrated that Abu Razin said: “I saw Abu Hurairah clap his hand to his forehead and say: ‘people of Al-’Iraq, you claim that I tell lies about the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلمI bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other until he fixes it.” (Sahih)
