حَدَّثَنَا مَسْعُودُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ صَنَعْتُ طَعَامًا فَدَعَوْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَائَ فَدَخَلَ فَرَأَی سِتْرًا فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ فَخَرَجَ وَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِکَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5366
It was narrated that ‘Ali said: “I made some food and invited the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم (to come and eat). He came and entered, then he saw a curtain on which there were images, so he went out and said: ‘The Angels do not enter a house in which there are images.” (Sahih).
