أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَارِبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنْ مَخِيلَةٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يَنْظُرْ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5343
It was narrated that Muharib said: “I heard Ibn ‘Umar narrating that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Whoever drags his garment out of vanity, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will not took at him on the Day of Resurrection.”(Sahih).
