أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ کَأَنَّهُ ثَغَامَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيِّرُوا أَوْ اخْضِبُوا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5257
It was narrated that Jabir said: “Abu Quhafah was brought to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and his head and beard were white like the Thaghamah. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Change this, or dye it.” (Sahih)
