أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ أَبُو الْجَوْزَائِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَائِ الْآخِرَةِ حَتَّی مَضَی شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّی بِنَا کَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَی بَيَاضِ خَاتَمِهِ فِي يَدِهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5217
It was narrated that Anas : “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ‘delayed ‘Isha’ prayer one night, until half the night had passed, then he came out and led us in prayer. And it is as if I can see the whiteness of his silver ring on his hand.” (Sahih)
