سنن نسائی · Hadith 5167
It was narrated that Abu Shaikh said: “While we were with Muawiyah on one of his pilgrimages, he gathered together a group of the Companions of Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said to them: O you not know that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade wearing gold unless it was broken smaller pieces)?’ They said:, yes.” (Sahih) Yahyah bin Abi Kathir contradicted as his other companions offered.
