سنن نسائی · Hadith 5158
It was narrated from ‘ishah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم saw her wearing two bracelets of gold. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Shall I not tell you of something that is better than this? Why don’t you take these off and wear two bracelets of silver, and paint them yellow with saffron, and they will look fine.” (Da’if) Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: This is not preserved, and Allah knows best.
