أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَائِ أَمَا لَکُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْکُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ تُحَلَّی ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 5153
It was narrated from Rib’i, from his wife, that the sister of Iludhaifah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم addressed us and said: ‘women, do you not have any silver to wear for adornment? For there is no woman among you who wears gold and shows it, but she will be punished because of it.” (Da’if)
