أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ التَّرَجُّلِ إِلَّا غِبًّا

سنن نسائی · Hadith 5071

It was narrated from Al Hasan that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade combing one’s hair except every other day. (Da`if)
