أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَيٍّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ عَطَائٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ قَالَ يُقْطَعُ السَّارِقُ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ وَکَانَ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِينَارًا أَوْ عَشْرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4962
It was narrated that Ayman said: “The (hand of) a thief is to be cut off for the price of a shield, and the price of a shield during the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم was a Dinar, or ten Dirhams.” (Da’if)
