أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْطَعُ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم “ — (one of the narrators) Qutaibah said —: ‘Used to cut off the hand of the thief for one-quarter of a Dinar or more.” (Sahih)
