أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلَاثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم cut off (a thiefs hand) for a shield which cost three Dirhams. (Sahih)
