أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ کَانَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مَخْزُومِيَّةٌ تَسْتَعِيرُ مَتَاعًا عَلَی أَلْسِنَةِ جَارَاتِهَا وَتَجْحَدُهُ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَطْعِ يَدِهَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4903
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them said: “There was a Makhzdmi woman who used to borrow things, saying that her neighbors needed them, then she would deny that she had borrowed them, so the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم i ordered that her hand be cut off.” SahIh)
