أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ کُرَيْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً رَفَعَتْ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَکِ أَجْرٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2651
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that a woman held up a child of hers to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said: “Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, is there Hajj for this one?” He said: “Yes, and you will be rewarded.” (Sahih)
