أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعَلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ عَلَی الْمِسْکِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَعَلَی ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2588
It was narrated from Salman bin Amir that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Giving charity to a poor person is charity, and (giving) to a relative is two things, charity and upholding the ties of kinship.” (Sahih)
