حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَمَّا کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهِ قَالَتْ کَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1550
Farwah bin Nawfal Al-Ashjai asked Aishah the Mother of the Believers, about the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She replied: "He would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done. '"
