أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ کُنَّا نُخْرِجُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ لَا نُخْرِجُ غَيْرَهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2524
It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri said: “At the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم we used to give a Sa‘of dates, or a Sd ‘of barley, or a Sa’ of cottage cheese, and we did not give anything else.” (Sahih)
