أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَضَ زَکَاةَ الْفِطْرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ عَلَی النَّاسِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَی کُلِّ حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ ذَکَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَی مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2509
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم enjoined Zakatul-Fitr at the end of Ramalan upon the people; a of dates or a ‘a’ of barley, upon everyone, free or slave, male or female, of the Muslims. (Sahih)
