أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَکَاةَ رَمَضَانَ عَلَی الْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّکَرِ وَالْأُنْثَی صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ فَعَدَلَ النَّاسُ بِهِ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ بُرٍّ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2506
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم enjoined Zakah of Ramadan upon the free and the slave, male and female, a Sd of dates or a ‘a’ of barley, so the people considered that equivalent to half a Sa’ of wheat.” (Sahih)
