أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَی قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی آلِ فُلَانٍ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2465
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Abi Awfa said: “When people brought their Zakah to him, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم would say: Allah, send alah upon the family of so-and-so.’ My father brought his Sadaqah to him and he said: Allah, send aah upon the family of Abu Awfa.” (Sahih)
