أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّيَّاحِ عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَصُومُ تِسْعًا مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَيَوْمَ عَاشُورَائَ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ کُلِّ شَهْرٍ أَوَّلَ اثْنَيْنِ مِنْ الشَّهْرِ وَخَمِيسَيْنِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2423
It was narrated from Hunaidah bin Khalid, from his wife, from one of the wives of the Prophet , that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to fast nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, the day of AshCira’, and three days of each month: The first Monday of the month, and two Thursdays. (Sahih).
