أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِکٌ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَذَکَرَ آخَرَ قَبْلَهُمَا أَنَّ أَبَا النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ حَتَّی نَقُولَ مَا يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّی نَقُولَ مَا يَصُومُ وَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شَهْرٍ أَکْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2357
It was narrated that Abduah bin Shaqiq said: “I asked ‘Ajshah about the fasting of the eengeof Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم She said: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to fast until we said: He is going to (continue to) fast, and he used not to fast until we said: He is not going to. And he did not fast for a whole month from the time he came to Al-Madinah, apart from Rama. (Sahih)
