أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَأْتِيهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ أَصْبَحَ عِنْدَکُمْ شَيْئٌ تُطْعِمِينِيهِ فَنَقُولُ لَا فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ثُمَّ جَائَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ فَقَالَتْ أُهْدِيَتْ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ فَقَالَ مَا هِيَ قَالَتْ حَيْسٌ قَالَ قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا فَأَکَلَ

سنن نسائی · Hadith 2332

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم would come and say: “Do you have any food for breakfast?” and we would say no, so he would say: “I am fasting.” One day he came to us and we had been given some ais. He said: “Do you have Lig (to eat)?” and we said: we have been given some Hais.” He said: “I started the dayto fast,” but then he ate.(Hasan) Qasim bin Yazid contradicted…
