أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا وَرْقَائُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَلَی الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْکِينٍ يُطِيقُونَهُ يُکَلَّفُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْکِينٍ وَاحِدٍ فَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا طَعَامُ مِسْکِينٍ آخَرَ لَيْسَتْ بِمَنْسُوخَةٍ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ وَأَنْ تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَکُمْ لَا يُرَخَّصُ فِي هَذَا إِلَّا لِلَّذِي لَا يُطِيقُ الصِّيَامَ أَوْ مَرِيضٍ لَا يُشْفَی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2323
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that he came to the Prophet , in Al-Madinah when he was eating breakfast. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said to him: “Come and eat, the breakfast.” He said: “I am fasting.” The Prophet said to him: “Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has waived fasting and half of the prayer for the traveler and for pregnant and breastfeeding women.” (Sahih).
