أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ کُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمِنَّا الصَّائِمُ وَمِنَّا الْمُفْطِرُ وَلَا يَعِيبُ الصَّائِمُ عَلَی الْمُفْطِرِ وَلَا يَعِيبُ الْمُفْطِرُ عَلَی الصَّائِمِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2316
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that Hamzah Al-Aslami asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم about asting while traveling — as he was a tnan who used to fast continually. fle said: “If you wish then fast and if you wish then do not fast.” (Sahih)
