Hadith 2279

Abu Qilabah Al-Jarmi narrated that Abu Umayyah Ad DamrI told them that he came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم from a journey and he said: “Come and have a meal for breakfast, Abu Umayyah.” “I said: ‘I am fasting.’ He said: ‘Come close and I will tell you about the traveler. Allah, Most High, has waived fasting and half of the prayer for him.” (Sahih)
