سنن نسائی · Hadith 2276
Ja’far bin ‘Amr bin Umayyah Ad-Damri narrated that his father said: “I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said to me: ‘Stay and have a meal for breakfast, Abu Umayyah.’ said: ‘I am fasting.’ He said: ‘Come and I will tell you about the traveler. Allah has waived — meaning the fasting — and half the prayer for him.” (Sahih)
