أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ کَثِيرٍ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ مِنْ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ ابْنَ کَثِيرٍ عَلَيْهِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2262
It was narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever fasts one day in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, Allah will seperate him the distance of one hundred years from the Fire.”(Hasan)
