أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَائِ عَنْ کَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنْ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2261
It was narrated that Abu Saeed AlKhudri said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: Whoever fasts a day in the cause of Allah, Allah will separate his face (a distance of) seventy autumns from the Fire in return for that day.”(Sahih)
