أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَذَکَرَ مِثْلَهُ وَقَالَ مَنْ صَامَهُ وَقَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2215
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Whoever spends the nights of Ramdhan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins, and whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.” (Sahih)
