أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2205
It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that Abu Salamah told him that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Whoever spends the nights of Ramaclan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.” (Sahih)
