حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ زَبَّانِ بْنِ فَائِدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيهِ أُلْبِسَ وَالِدَاهُ تَاجًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ضَوْئُهُ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْئِ الشَّمْسِ فِي بُيُوتِ الدُّنْيَا لَوْ کَانَتْ فِيکُمْ فَمَا ظَنُّکُمْ بِالَّذِي عَمِلَ بِهَذَا
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1453
Muadh al-Juhani reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone recites the Quran and acts according to its content, on the Day of Judgement his parents will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this world if it were among you. So what do you think of him who acts according to this ?
