حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَی عَشْرَةَ رَکْعَةً يُوتِرُ مِنْهَا بِوَاحِدَةٍ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْهَا اضْطَجَعَ عَلَی شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1335
Narrated Aishah, wife of Prophet ﷺ: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray eleven rak'ahs (at night, observing the witr with one rak'ahs). When he finished it (the prayer), he would lie down on his right side.
