حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَائٍ عَنْ ذَکْوَانَ مَوْلَی عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَيَنْهَی عَنْهَا وَيُوَاصِلُ وَيَنْهَی عَنْ الْوِصَالِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1280
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Dhakwan, the client of Aishah, reported on the authority of Aishah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray after the afternoon prayer but prohibited others from it; and he would fast continuously but forbid others to do so.
