حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ خُسِفَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلَّی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالنَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلًا بِنَحْوٍ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ثُمَّ رَکَعَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1189
Narrated Ibn Abbas: An eclipse of the sun took place. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed along with the people. He stood up for a long time nearly equal to the recitation of Surah al Baqarah. H then bowed. The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition.
