حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ح و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ کَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَطَائٍ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَی ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَشَهِدَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ فَصَلَّی ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَی النِّسَائَ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ قَالَ ابْنُ کَثِيرٍ أَکْبَرُ عِلْمِ شُعْبَةَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1142
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out on Eid (the festival day). He first offered the prayer and then delivered the sermon. He then went to women, taking Bilal with him. The narrator Ibn Kathir said: The probable opinion of Shubah is that he commanded them to give alms. So they began to put (their jewellery).
