حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّی وَعُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْوَصَّابِيُّ الْمَعْنَی قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ الضَّبِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَدْ اجْتَمَعَ فِي يَوْمِکُمْ هَذَا عِيدَانِ فَمَنْ شَائَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنْ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ قَالَ عُمَرُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1073
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: Two festivals ('Id and Friday) have synchronised on this day. If anyone does not want to offer the Friday prayer, the Eid prayer is sufficient for him. But we shall offer the Friday prayer. This tradition has been narrated by Umar from Shubah.
