حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ هِنْدِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَکَثَ قَلِيلًا وَکَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِکَ کَيْمَا يَنْفُذُ النِّسَائُ قَبْلَ الرِّجَالِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1040
Umm Salamah said; When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the salutation, he stayed for a while. By this people thought that women should return earlier than men.
