أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ أُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلَی صَاحِبِکُمْ دَيْنًا فَقَالَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ أَنَا أَتَکَفَّلُ بِهِ قَالَ بِالْوَفَائِ قَالَ بِالْوَفَائِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4707
It was narrated from ‘Abdull bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, that a man from among the Ansar was brought to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم for him to offer the funeral prayer, and he said: “Your companion owes a debt.” Abu Qatadah said: “I will guarantee it for him.” The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “In full?” He said: “In fuji.” (Sahih).
