أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْکَلْبِ وَالسِّنَّوْرِ إِلَّا کَلْبِ صَيْدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا مُنْکَرٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4683
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade the price of dogs and cats, except hunting dogs.(Da’if) Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: This is Munkar.
