أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَکَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ کَانُوا يَبْتَاعُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الرُّکْبَانِ فَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَبِيعُوا فِي مَکَانِهِمْ الَّذِي ابْتَاعُوا فِيهِ حَتَّی يَنْقُلُوهُ إِلَی سُوقِ الطَّعَامِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4622
It was narrated from Nafi’ that Ibn ‘Umar told them, that they used to buy food from the riders at the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and he forbade them to sell it in the place where they had bought it until they moved it to the food market. (Sahih)
