أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُمْ کَانُوا يَبْتَاعُونَ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَعْلَی السُّوقِ جُزَافًا فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَکَانِهِ حَتَّی يَنْقُلُوهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4621
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that they used to buy and sell during the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم at the top of the marketplace without measuring. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade them to sell it in the place where they had bought it until they moved it. (Sahih)
